Proffice Aviation expands to Norway
Proffice will become the preferred supplier to Northport in Norway after three years cooperation at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The contract means that Proffice Aviation’s turnover for ground services will increase by more than 100% in the Nordic region.
On October 1 this year, Northport, a subsidiary to Finnair, will open up ground handling services at Gardermoen Airport in Norway. Their first customer will be Norwegian Air Shuttle with nearly 400 departures a week. Proffice, a partner to Northport, will deliver flexible staffing for Northport’s ground services. This is a continuation of the successful cooperation between Northport and Proffice Aviation at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, where all operative staff is employed by Proffice Aviation.
- Proffice has successfully cooperated with Northport at Arlanda airport since June 2003, and we are pleased that we will now be able to expand our cooperation in the Nordic region to include Gardermoen. We are looking forward to this cooperation with Northport and Norwegian, says Lars Walström, CEO Proffice AB.
- The operating model for the new company of ours will be the same as at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Thanks to flexible personnel management we can offer airlines quality ground handling services at competitive prices, explains Northport Managing Director Tero Vauraste.
