ProffCom consolidates call center operations in Denmark
ProffCom in Denmark has, in the past, operated call centers in both Copenhagen and Sønderborg. The operations will now be consolidated to Sønderborg and the operation in Copenhagen will cease.
The call center operations in Denmark have generated a significant deficit the last couple of years and ProffCom will now consolidate operations with the aim to achieve a positive result. This decision is made against background of Proffice’s restructuring programme initiated in March 2005.
In the future, ProffCom will manage a call center operation from Sønderborg with an offer for customer service only. The call center operation in Copenhagen will be liquidated.
During 2004 ProffCom’s turnover in Denmark amounted to approximately MSEK 26 with an operating loss of approximately MSEK -12. During the first half year 2005, ProffCom in Denmark had a turnover of approximately MSEK 14 and the operating loss was approximately MSEK -11.
