– The restructuring programme presented earlier this year is now completed and the result for the period has been charged by restructuring costs of approximately MSEK 25, which is according to plan. The implemented measures have created conditions for a positive operating profit for all operating units during the second half year of 2005, says Alf Johansson.

– During the second quarter we have seen a clear improvement of both turnover and result for the activity area Temporary Staffing. The main improvement took place in Sweden, but there has been a positive development also in the other countries. The activity area as a total shows a profit for the second quarter and the conditions are favourable for a positive development during this fall, continues Alf Johansson.

– The Nordic staffing industry has, during the first half year 2005, showed a considerable growth for the first time in several years. The improved demand has lead to a stabilized price development. Ventures in new areas such as media and airport staffing among others, have strengthened our market position, continues Alf Johansson.

– The labour market is changing faster and faster. Companies and organisations in the Nordic region, as in many other countries, find clear advantages with a flexible organization where services from flexible staffing companies are a natural part of the business. This is expected to lead to further market growth for flexible staffing services, concludes Alf Johansson.

• Earnings per share SEK -0.13 (-0.49)
• RC Consultants, sold in the beginning of 2005, had a net turnover of MSEK 195  and an operating profit of MSEK 10 for the first half year 2004
• The capital gain from the sale of RC Consultants is included in the operating profit for the first half year 2005 with MSEK 55
