Proffice acquires airport staffing company
Proffice continues the initiative to offer staffing services for airports through an acquisition of the company work@ARN. The company offers temporary staffing for ground services and cabin personnel at Arlanda and Bromma airports in Stockholm. During the year 2004 work@ARN hired out approximately 450 people and the turnover during the year 2005 is estimated at MSEK120. The operation will give a positive contribution to Proffice’s profitability. The purchase sum unencumbered by debt is MSEK12.
Earlier this year Proffice started cooperation with the air traffic control company ACR, Aviation Capacity Resources AB, to be able to offer the right staffing for air traffic control. The acquisition of work@ARN will strengthen Proffice’s offer to customers with operations at Nordic airports.
- We will build our operations for airports in the Nordic countries where the required daily staffing fluctuates. Through our cooperation with ACR together with this acquisition, we will be able to offer total solutions for staffing services on a growing and deregulated market, says Alf Johansson, CEO at Proffice AB.
- The possibility to develop our successful concept together with Proffice is a natural step in the development of the company. To be able to continue this work with one of the leading staffing companies in the Nordic region vouches for an exciting future, says Pontus Monthan, Managing Director at work@ARN.
