Proffice concentrates outsourcing operations
Proffice has signed a letter of intent regarding the sale of a part of the outsourcing operations to ISS Facility Services and the signing of a partner agreement at the same time. As a step in Proffice’s reorganisation plan, Proffice will choose to focus the outsourcing operation on economical and reliable solutions for customer services, telephone services, accounting and payroll administration in our centers. The intention is to sell the part of our operations called Inhouse. Inhouse means that the supplier takes over the responsibility of one or more functions, such as switch board, reception and porter services, on the customer’s premises. These types of services have changed towards more complex facility management solutions, therefore a better fit for ISS. To be able to handle current and future customers’ requirements, the intention is to sell the operation as a take-over of assets and liabilities. The operation has an annual turnover of approximately MSEK 90 and a staff of about 185. In addition to this, ISS and Proffice intend to sign a long term partner agreement for finance- and payroll center solutions, which is a requirement for the transaction. The negotiations continue and are expected to be finalized during the month of June 2005. More information will be distributed in connection with the signing of the agreement.
